Jelly glue (also known as animal protein glue) is a safe and environmentally friendly adhesive, generally used in printing and packaging manufacturers, mainly used in edge sealing and laminating processes such as mobile phone boxes, hardcover gift boxes, hardcover books, and cartons. Jelly glue has many advantages such as strong bonding ability, no damage to paper, and no rebound after bonding, so it is deeply loved by manufacturers.
However, in the process of serving customers, some customers asked us whether the quality of the adhesive would be affected if the glue was not completely used in one use. We answered that it could be used repeatedly, but some protective measures should be taken.
1. Avoid jelly glue from burning at high temperature
Normally, after the gel sol machine stops using, the temperature of the jelly glue will slowly drop, and then re-condense into its original solid state. The next time you want to use it, you just need to heat it again and melt it. However, in many cases, the jelly glue used by manufacturers has been repeatedly heated and cooled. If the temperature is not well controlled during use, it is easy to burn the glue at the bottom, which will affect the bonding strength of the glue to a certain extent.
2. Prevent dust from entering the glue pot
At the same time, after the glue sol machine stops using, it is necessary to cover the glue to prevent dust from falling into the glue pot. Manufacturers can use a glue pot cover or cardboard to cover it. However, we often recommend that manufacturers use it on demand each time to ensure the glue effect of the glue. After the manufacturer finishes using the glue, the glue sol tank, glue roller, glue hose, and glue pump can be cleaned immediately to avoid damage to the glue roller, clogging of the glue hose, and glue pump after the glue solidifies.
