How to use EVA profile wrapping hot melt adhesive

1. Understand the boards to be bonded (MDF, solid wood, plastic, etc.) and the wrapping materials (PVC film, PET film, solid wood veneer, paper, etc.), and ask the glue supplier to provide suitable EVA hot melt adhesive.
2. Open the temperature panel of the wrapping machine, set the temperature (150-185°C), and preheat the hot melt adhesive.
3. Set the glue application amount and wrapping speed of the machine, and start wrapping.
4. Place the finished product in a natural environment for 24 hours before proceeding to the next processing step.

Application notes

1. If it is wraped wood, the moisture content of the wood should be controlled at 8-12%, and the surface of the substrate should be flat, smooth, and not warped.
2. Keep the glue tank clean. During normal use, if the amount of glue is less than half, you need to add glue granules in time.
3. When the colloid melts to the point where there are no particles, the equipment can be adjusted; after the glue temperature is stable, the temperature measurement equipment can be used to check the temperature and make adjustments based on the actual temperature. Check the temperature of the glue coating wheel and adjust it to ensure normal glue flow.
4. When the actual temperature of the colloid drops by more than 5°C during use, the corresponding temperature of the equipment needs to be increased; when the amount of glue used is large and the melting speed is insufficient, the equipment temperature can be appropriately increased to supplement it, but intermittent production is required.
5. Feeding speed: 8-20 meters/minute.
6. After the pressure is relieved, it should be stored for a period of time (more than 24 hours in winter and more than 18 hours in summer) before entering the next processing step.
7. When the ambient temperature drops to 10-15°C, the equipment temperature needs to be increased by 10-15°C and the equipment operating speed should be accelerated appropriately.
8. If the machine is shut down for more than 2 hours, the temperature of the glue tank should be lowered to avoid aging of the hot melt adhesive and affecting the bonding effect; if the machine is shut down for more than 8 hours, the glue in the glue tank should be completely applied or emptied.
